The Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO/INPI) has launched the Green Technologies Observatory, an important initiative aimed at strengthening strategic intelligence in sustainable innovation and intellectual property.
Developed in partnership with Suframa and Ifam under a Technical Cooperation Agreement, the platform brings together technological data and studies focused on environmentally sustainable technologies with direct relevance to Brazil’s bioeconomy.
The Observatory already includes studies and indicators related to green patent fast-track examination, energy generation, and sustainable agriculture, with accessible and exportable data for analysis.
More than a research platform, the initiative supports public policy development, innovation strategies, and the monitoring of global technological trends linked to the ecological transition.
A very positive initiative for everyone working at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and IP.
