Ludmila Kawakami is a pharmacist and holds a aster’s degree in Immunobiological Technology and joined Di Blasi Parente’s Rio de Janeiro office in 2015 as patent specialist.
Ludmila acts in the protection of IP, in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Cosmetics, Chemistry and other related fields and plant varieties.
Her practice includes, but not limited, to patent prosecution and plant varieties; searches and analysis of patentability, technical opinions, draft patent application, support on technical matters in litigation and proceedings related to the access of Brazilian Genetic Heritage and Associated traditional Knowledge.
She co-coordinates the Biotechnology Committee of ABPI.
