Ana Paulo Couto

Patent Specialist

Ana Paula Couto is a pharmacist with specialization in Intellectual Property Law and works in protecting patent applications in the fields of Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Cosmetics, Chemistry, and other related areas.

Her practice includes, but is not limited to, patent processing and industrial design; patentability searches and analysis, technical opinions, patent drafting, technical support in litigation, among others.

Formation

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation – PROFNIT – UFRJ

• Postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC Rio

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Celso Lisboa University Center – UCL

• Sandwich Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montana (USA)
